Rosalind Russell
Rosalind Russell was born in Waterbury, CT, along with 6 siblings. She mostly was the middle-aged gal in her family. Along with her career, she wanted to be a drama teacher. So, she signed with Universal Studios for her early movie acting. However, she didn't like the habit of this "solution", so she went to MGM Studios. But she was still stuck on the Universal Contract. She managed to get rid of it. One thing she obiviously did throughout[well, almost]her life was smoking. She continued her career life, then met the stage and screen producer, Frederick Brisson. Soon enough, the couple got married on Oct. 25th, 1941. After a couple years, still working on her smoking, she had to deal with a pregnancy. In 1943, she gave birth to one son- Lance Brisson. Her movie success was still working out for her. In 1972, she raised money to a fund raiser for hospital charities. At that same year, she had a serious illness going on in her tall, active body. Occasionaly, this caused many cancers to go on, and made her weaker. She eventually died of breast cancer in 1976 , in Beverly Hills. Heart-broken of the death of his wife, Frederick went to move on to other things, also married again, to a woman much younger than Roz. Lance, however, has a job in Los Angeles, married and divorced, had a son, and continues to move on.
